    That statue of the girl is rather creepy. Like the set 5-10 from the bottom — the wall of headstones.

      that girl is the creepiest. i love taking pictures of her. the wall of headstones was definitely something, I wanted to shoot with the long lens.

      i thought posting both the color and b/w versions revealed a great deal about both, as I guess it should, but a part of doing b/w for them all came from this movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1003113/ In it, one of the storytellers talks about Mapplethorpe’s blacks: “they seem to have a black in them that is the picture not the color.” I thought my b/w edges came out very crisp. i was atleast happy with some edges.
